Today, the Governor convened a roundtable to discuss California’s drought. Central Valley lawmaker Vince Fong (R-Kern County), Vice Chair of the Assembly Budget Committee, issued the following statement:
“Conservation alone will not solve the state’s water crisis.
“We need to build more water storage especially above ground storage and upgrade California’s water conveyance system.
“The time is now to invest in needed and vital water infrastructure.”
